Priyank Kharge renews attack on RSS, demands legal compliance and transparency

Bengaluru, June 16 (UNI) Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge on Tuesday intensified his attack on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), asking the organisation to "shun arrogance" and comply with the law by formally registering itself and disclosing details of its funding and operations.
The fresh salvo came after RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat rejected demands for the Sangh to register itself, stating that the organisation functions openly and has nothing to hide.
In a strongly-worded statement, Kharge said no institution, regardless of its age or influence, can claim exemption from public accountability in a constitutional democracy.
