BJP demands Devaswom Board recover funds spent on Ayyappa Sangamam

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 6 (UNI) BJP National Executive Committee member Kummanam Rajasekharan has strongly condemned the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) for sanctioning Rs 8.22 crore for the recent Global Ayyappa Sangamam.
He described the expenditure as a "wasteful and unnecessary extravaganza."
Rajasekharan alleged that Rs 4.11 crore of the sanctioned amount had already been disbursed to the Uralungal Labour Contract Cooperative Society, which is under the control of the ruling CPI(M).
