UDF will continue to show solidarity towards Kerala's agitating ASHA workers: KPCC president

Kannur, March 3 (UNI) Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President K Sudhakaran, on Monday alleged the ASHA workers in the state were starving under the rule of the CPI(M) led Left Democratic Front (LDF), which claims itself to be pro-working class.
Inaugurating the State-level solidarity protest of the agitating ASHA workers, he said "The LDF government is loathe to showing kindness towards the agitating ASHA workers. At the same time the salaries of PSC members and the representative of the Kerala government in Delhi have been hiked recently.
"The agitating ASHA workers did not demand a salary equal to those of the PSC members and they only asked for a meagre salary hike to meet the day to day expenses. They are starving under ldf rule," he said.
