Prahlad Joshi blames CM for stampede

Bengaluru, June 10 (UNI) Union Minister Pralhad Joshi on Tuesday held Chief Minister Siddaramaiah personally accountable for the stampede at the RCB celebration event, saying his own tweet calling people to gather triggered the crowd, while he now claims ignorance.
Speaking to the media, Joshi said, “At 10 AM on the day of the event, the Chief Minister himself tweeted, urging people to attend. And now he says he wasn’t properly briefed? This is completely unacceptable. The government cannot run away from its responsibility.”
He accused the Chief Minister of attempting to deflect blame by citing the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA). “He claimed that both he and I were invited by the KSCA. But Raj Bhavan has officially clarified that the Chief Minister himself invited me. The KSCA did not invite me. This shows that the CM is trying to wash his hands off the issue,” Joshi said.
