Hyderabad: Dr Bharati Kulkarni takes charge as NIN new Director

Hyderabad, Jan 1 (UNI) Dr.Bharati Kulkarni, an acclaimed physician-scientist has taken over as the new Director of National Institute of Nutrition (ICMR-NIN) here on Wednesday.
Specialized in Paediatrics from Pune University and has a Master’s degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health apart from a doctoral degree from Queensland University of Technology, Australia, Dr Bharati served as a scientist at ICMR-NIN for more than 20 years, a release said here.
She has been holding the position of the Head of the Division of Reproductive and Child Health and Nutrition at ICMR for the past three years.
