Telangana Governor, CM pay tributes to Mahatma Gandhi

Hyderabad, Oct 2 (UNI) Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Verma and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy led the state in paying floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his 156th birth anniversary at Bapu Ghat in Langar House on Thursday.
Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy, Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Government Advisor Keshav Rao, MLCs Patnam Mahender Reddy and Addanki Dayakar, BC Commission Chairman Niranjan, former Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, and former MP V Hanumantha Rao were among the dignitaries who offered tributes.
An all-faith prayer meeting was held at the Gandhi Museum Hall, reflecting Gandhiji's ideals of peace, harmony, and universal brotherhood.

Kerala releases 2024 antibiogram, reports decline in resistance

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 11 (UNI) Kerala has published the 2024 State Antibiogram (AMR Surveillance Report), presenting an assessment of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) trends and the state’s strategy to curb misuse of antibiotics.
Kerala created history in 2022 when it became the first state in India to release an antibiogram. With the latest publication, the state has now released its report for the fourth consecutive year, showcasing consistent and structured action against AMR.
