India's first online land document transfer completed in Kerala village

Kasaragod, June 24 (UNI) In a historic milestone, a village in Kerala's Kasaragod district has become the first in the country to complete an online land document (Aadharam) transfer, setting a precedent for fully digital land surveys and transactions, an official said today.
The land transfer was done in Ujar Ulvar village under Manjeswaram taluk through the Ente Bhoomi portal - a joint project of the Revenue, Survey and Registration departments, and implemented as a key initiative of the state government.
Under the direction of District Collector K Impasekhar, the land registration and transaction process has been digitised across all villages in the district.
