Telangana Govt will stand by journalists: Minister

Hyderabad, Sep 29 (UNI) Telangana Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Rural Water Supply and Women and Child Welfare Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka today assured that the state government will continue to extend its support to journalists.
Speaking at the Journalists Welfare Fund cheque distribution programme held at the Telangana Media Academy Auditorium in Nampally, Seethakka paid tributes to journalists who lost their lives while serving in the profession.
She said journalists play a vital role in bringing people’s issues to the notice of the government, acting as a bridge between the people and the administration.
