APJU leaders congratulate AP CM for getting passed AP Reorganisation (Amendment) Act bill in Parliament

Vijayawada, Apr 7 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Journalists union for Print and Electronic Media (APJU) General Secretary Chaladi Purnachandra Rao and Amaravati Capital Region President Pokkuluri Subba Rao congratulated Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for successfully getting the AP Reorganisation (Amendment) Act bill passed in the Parliament.
The APJU leaders in a release here on Tuesday said that the formal reaffirmation of Amaravati as the capital marks not just an administrative decision but the emotional closure of a prolonged chapter of uncertainty in Andhra Pradesh’s post-bifurcation journey. For years, the question of the state’s capital lingered as a source of anxiety, debate, and division. Today, that ambiguity has finally given way to clarity, they observed.
“The significance of Amaravati extends beyond its geographic or infrastructural promise. It is deeply rooted in the collective aspirations of the people—particularly the farmers who parted with their lands in an extraordinary act of trust, envisioning a world-class capital that would define the state’s future. Their patience, tested over time, now finds validation, they asserted.
