Seek Foundation donates ambulance, load vehicle, tailoring machines worth Rs 50 lakh to tribal communities in TN

Chennai, Oct 31 (UNI) In its continued effort to uplift tribal communities through sustainable development and welfare initiatives, Seek Foundation, under the leadership of its Founder Dr. Vimala Britto, donated two ambulances, one load vehicle, and several tailoring machines, totally worth Rs 50 lakhs and above to the tribal people of Kotagiri and Gudalur regions in the hilly Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu.
The event took place at St. Britto’s Academy (SBA), Chennai, in the presence of Mr. Alwas, Secretary of the Nilgiris Adhiwasi Welfare Association (NAWA), and Dr. Thamas Ponraj, Chief Executive of Seek Foundation.
The initiative marks another milestone in the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to healthcare, livelihood, and community support in remote tribal regions, a press release here today said.

Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday announced the construction of a 58-feet statue of Amarajeevi Potti Sriramulu in the state capital, Amaravati, to be named the ‘Statue of Sacrifice.’ A memorial park spanning 6.5 acres will also be developed to honor the legendary freedom fighter.
