Madras HC dismisses TASMAC pleas against ED raids unearthing Rs 1,000 cr cam

Chennai, Apr 23 (UNI) The Madras High Court on Wednesday dismissed three petitions--two filed
by the state-owned TASMAC, the monopoly in selling liquor in Tamil Nadu and the one by the State Government--against the recent raids by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) unearthing irregularities
to the tune of Rs 1,000 crore.

Minister Savitha assures of providing infrastructure to establish industries

Anantapur, May 13 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Minister for BC Welfare S Savitha reiterated the Government’s commitment to provide required infrastructure to establish industries and encourage enthusiastic entrepreneurs.

Minister Savitha performed bhoomi pooja for the establishment of MSME Park at Roddam in Penukonda constituency on Tuesday. The MSME Park is coming up in 59.37 acres of land.
