Telangana: BJP Legal Cell & Bar Council urges union Govt. to implement Advocates protection Bill immediately

Hyderabad, Oct 3 (UNI) Telangana State BJP legal Cell and Telangana Bar Council on Friday urged the union Government to introduce and implement the ‘Advocates Protection bill’ immediately to safeguard the privileges and duties of the advocates.
Submitting a representation to union Law and Justice Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal during the State legal Cell meeting held at BJP state office here, Telangana Bar Council Chairman A Narsimha Reddy and State BJP legal Cell convenor Gokul Ramarao, also requested him to provide medical insurance, death benefit and retirement benefit to all advocates and also stipend to all junior advocates.
There are about 60,000 practising advocates under the Bar Council of Telangana; they said the success of the judicial process often depends on the services of the legal profession.
