Belagavi, Sep 2 (UNI) Sri Ram Sene Chief Pramod Muthalik on Monday claimed that around 12 lakh illegal Bangladeshi immigrants are currently residing in Karnataka and they are allegedly trying to secure Aadhaar cards.
Addressing a press conference here, Muthalik said, these cards are crucial for accessing a range of government services.
"These immigrants are desperately seeking Aadhaar cards, which are essential for getting subsidies, pensions, and healthcare services. If these unauthorized individuals manage to get these cards, it could cause rampant misuse of government services and undermine our entire system," Muthalik declared.
