UoH hosts distinguished lecture on cancer prevention, healthy aging by MD Anderson Expert

Hyderabad, Dec 10 (UNI) The University of Hyderabad (UoH) on Wednesday hosted a distinguished lecture by Prof Raghu Kalluri, Chairman of Cancer Biology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Centre, under its Institute of Eminence (IoE) initiative.
The session, held at the School of Life Sciences Auditorium, drew faculty, researchers, students and university officials, and was presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof B J Rao.
Prof Rao said the IoE initiative had enabled the university to bring globally renowned scholars to campus and strengthen high-level scientific exchange. Speakers from the IoE and School of Life Sciences highlighted the institution’s strong research foundation in cancer biology, metabolic diseases, and interdisciplinary life-science research.

Karnataka ESCOMs seek power tariff hike after ₹4,900 crore loss
