Telangana’s Aerospace & Defence sector surpasses pharma in exports: KTR

Hyderabad, Mar 21 (UNI) Telangana's Aerospace and Defence sector has overtaken the Pharma sector in merchandise exports, marking a significant milestone in the state's industrial growth, BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) announced on Twitter (X).
Expressing his delight, KTR credited this achievement to the remarkable progress made during the #TelanganaDecade (2014-2023). He emphasised that the Aerospace and Defence Policy 2016 played a crucial role in fostering investment, research, and indigenous manufacturing, creating a strong foundation for the sector’s growth.
Telangana’s aerospace sector has witnessed exceptional expansion under the BRS government. The state has won the Best State Award for Promotion of the Aviation Ecosystem four times (2018, 2020, 2022, and 2024).
