Hyderabad collector launches “Safe With Dogs” Campaign; Invites Public to Join the Movement at HyCan 2025

Hyderabad, Nov 5 (UNI) In a unique initiative to build safer, kinder, and more compassionate communities, Hyderabad Collector Ms Harichandana Dasari launched the “Safe With Dogs” campaign under the aegis of the Department of Medical Health, Government of Telangana.
The campaign, conducted in collaboration with the Hyderabad Canine Club (HCC), aims to make Hyderabad a model city for responsible pet ownership and peaceful coexistence between people and dogs, said Philip Butt, Honorary Secretary, Hyderabad Canine Club, on the occasion, today.
“Safe With Dogs” seeks to educate communities on interacting safely and confidently with dogs, reduce fear and conflict in public spaces, and foster empathy and responsible pet parenting.
