Renewable energy and business opportunities take centre stage at APTA Katalyst 2025

Hyderabad, Jan 4 (UNI) Renewable energy is a necessity for India due to its inadequate energy infrastructure, emphasised Dr Bondada Raghavendra Rao, Chairman of Bondada Engineering Limited, during a panel discussion on "Opportunities in Renewable Energy: Solar and Alternative Fuels" at the American Progressive Telugu Association (APTA) Katalyst Global Business Conference held at Hitex on Saturday.
The two-day event features 16 panel discussions and the APTA Katalyst Business Pitch Contest (KBP).
Highlighting the potential of renewable energy, panellist Maurya Pydah, Associate Director at Greenko, noted that utilizing 5 per cent of India’s wasteland for solar projects could generate significant power.
