AP : Dy CM Pavan Kalyan distributes 12,000 sarees for Vratham

Kakinada, Aug 29 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pavan Kalyan has exhibited a gesture to women in his Pithapuram constituency for performing en masse Varalakshmi Vratham at the holy shrine of Paada gaya Kshetram at Pithapuram on the auspices last Friday of Sravanam on August 30.
It is customary that every year on the last Friday day of Sravana Maasam women would perform Varalakshmi Vratham enmasse in the Temple.
This year Pavan Kalyan has arranged 12,000 sarees and holy Kumkum and turmeric powder and deputed MLC Pidugu Hariprasad to supervise the distribution and also the orderly performing of Varalakshmi Vratham Friday.
