AP generate 72.60 GW of renewable energy by 2030: AP CM

Vijayawada/Gandhinagar, Sep 16 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu took the spotlight at the 4th Global Renewable Energy Investment Meet, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, where he spoke about the immense potential of clean energy for India's future.

Speaking at the Chief Ministerial Plenary, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu pledged Andhra Pradesh's commitment to generating 72.60 GW of renewable energy by 2030, aligning with India's goal of 500 GW by the same year. He mentioned that this initiative would create jobs, protect the environment, and make Andhra Pradesh a leader in green energy.

Chennai, Apr 18 (UNI) Apparently referring to Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankar's remarks
on the Supreme Court setting time frame for President to take decisions on a plea filed by
Tamil Nadu over the delay in Governor granting assent to Bills passed in the State Assembly,
Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin said “no one, however high, can be above the
law.”
In a social media post, he said the SC's historic verdict on course correction has rattled many
anti-democratic forces as it was a step towards resetting the process.
