Telangana Congress urges SEC to meet parties before local body poll notification

Hyderabad, Oct 4 (UNI) The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) today urged the State Election Commission (SEC) to convene a meeting with recognised political parties before the issuance of the election notification for the local body elections.
This meeting, the party said, is necessary to clarify any doubts or concerns the parties may have regarding the election process.
In a letter addressed to SEC Commissioner Rani Kumidini, TPCC Elections Commission Co-ordination Committee (ECCC) Convenor P. Rajaesh Kumar said the meeting would provide an opportunity for political parties to seek clarifications on various aspects of the election process, ensuring a smooth and transparent conduct of the elections.
