Lok Sabha election: 625 candidates' nominations found valid after scrutiny in Telangana

Hyderabad, April 27 (UNI) The nomination forms of 625 candidates in 17 Lok Sabha constituencies in Telangana, which will go to polls in the fourth phase on May 13, were declared valid after scrutiny, election authorities said on Saturday.
After the scrutiny held on Friday, out of 893 candidates who had filed their nominations,268 candidate’s nominations were rejected, a release from the state Chief Electoral Office said here.
The highest number of 53 candidates remain in Medak Lok Sabha constituency followed by 51 in Bhongir, 49 in Peddapalle (SC), 48 in Warangal (SC), 46 each in Secunderabad and Chevella, 38 in Hyderabad, 37 in Malkajgiri and 33 in Karimnagar while lowest candidates of 8 in Adilabad (ST) lok Sabha constituency.

Telangana govt to establish 571 new schools in state
