PM Modi should respect public verdict and quit: Telangana Congress leader

Hyderabad, June 4 (UNI) Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Senior Vice President G. Niranjan said Tuesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should respect the public verdict and resign immediately. "People have proven that there is no room for communalism in the country. The BJP should learn a lesson," he said.
In a statement, he also said the vibrancy shown by Indian voters in the 2024 Lok Sabha election reflects the greatness of the Indian democratic system to the world.
In Telangana, the BJP and INC have won eight seats each, while the AIMIM has won one seat. The state has 17 LS seats.

Hyderabad, Apr 29 (UNI) After the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA) in its report confirmed the structural collapse of all three barrages of Kaleshwaram project, Telangana Irrigation & Civil Supplies Minister Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Tuesday squarely blamed the previous BRS government for the collapse of the said project, calling it the biggest man-made disaster since independence and the most expensive engineering failure caused by any state government in the country.
