Voter dies after casting ballot during Kerala Assembly polls

Thrissur, April 9 (UNI) In a tragic incident during the ongoing Kerala Legislative Assembly election 2026, a 62-year-old voter collapsed and died shortly after casting his vote at a polling booth in Thrissur on Thursday.
The man had been standing in the queue for nearly an hour before exercising his franchise.
After casting his vote and while exiting the polling station, he suddenly collapsed, causing panic among fellow voters and polling officials.
