Wayanad, Oct 29 (UNI) AICC leader and UDF candidate of Wayanad Lok Sabha by-poll Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Centre for "neglecting" the rehabilitation process of the Wayanad's devastating landslide survivors by denying funds to the Kerala government.
Addressing public meetings at Eengapuzha, Thiruvambadi and Mampad and holding road shows and interactions in Malappuram and Kozhikode districts as part of her election campaign, Priyanka said visited the landslide areas and assured all assistance from the Central government, but did was yet to fulfill the promise.

"The people of Wayanad need employment opportunities, and the sportspersons need exposure to showcase their talent. So we need to work together to fulfill the dreams of the people," she said.
"I am learning about all the issues of Wayanad and would like to reach all the houses in the constituency to meet the people on various occasions," said Priyanka.
