World’s shortest doctor inaugurates Shadow Doctor 2.0

Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 1 (UNI) In an effort to inspire children and give them firsthand experience of the daily life of a doctor, the SP Medifort Hospital hosted over 180 school students as Shadow Doctors as part of the Doctors’ Day celebrations on Monday.
Dr. Ganesh Baraiya from Gujarat, who is known as the world’s shortest doctor, was the chief guest at the event. The future doctors who were selected from various schools had the opportunity to learn how doctors manage diverse and complex health conditions, delivering critical care under challenging circumstances.
SP Medifort, the new venture of SP Fort Healthcare, felicitated Dr. Ganesh Baraiya, who became a doctor fighting odds due to his physical condition and winning a legal battle in the Supreme Court of India.
