TN: Class 10 girl student stabbed on neck by 17-year-old boy

Karur, Feb 24 (UNI) In a shocking incident, a 15-year-old girl studying Class 10 was stabbed on neck by a 17-year-old boy allegedly for insulting him at Krishnapuram in Karur district of Tamil Nadu on Sunday night.
Police said here on Monday that the boy, who is a Class 12 student and a relative of the victim befriended her through social media platform Instagram.
He asked her to come to a secluded place near her house last night where he stabbed her on the neck with a knife after a heated argument and snatched away her gold chain leaving the girl in a pool of blood.
