Telangana: Loan Fraud schemes increasing in Hyd; 25 loan fraud cases register during 2023-25

Hyderabad, Nov 1 (UNI) In view of the increasing number of fraudulent loan schemes being reported in Hyderabad, particularly investigated by Central Crime Station (CCS), Detecctive Dapartment ((DD), Hyderabad, today cautioned the citizens to remain alert and exercise utmost vigilance in any interaction involving loans or financial advances.
During the years 2023-2025, a total of 25 loan fraud cases includidng 12 cases alone in 2025 reported at CCS(DD), according to Hyderabad Commissioner of Police, VC Sajjanar.
Key Modes of Fraud Identified, the police said the fraudsters pose as genuine loan providers (banks, NBFCs, cooperative societies) and collect personal identity documents (PAN, Aadhaar), bank details, or upfront charges from unsuspecting victims.

AP: YS Jagan demands CBI probe into Joji Nagar demolition

Vijayawada, Dec 16 (UNI) Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday demanded a CBI inquiry into what he alleged was the role of people in high places in the illegal demolition of houses in the prime Joji Nagar area here, despite a court order granting relief to residents till December 31.
Speaking to mediapersons, he expressed solidarity with the affected people and offered them all legal help.

Kumaraswamy blames Cong for farmer suicides

Telangana govt urges Centre to sanction IIM to Hyderabad

Hyderabad/New Delhi, Dec 16 (UNI): Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Tuesday urged union minister Dharmendra Pradhan to sanction an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) for Hyderabad and approve the establishment of additional Kendriya Vidyalayas and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in the southern state.
