Hyderabad, Mar 24 UNI) The Telangana Legislative Assembly convened at 1000 hours on Monday for the ninth day of its budget session.
Soon after the proceedings began, Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar cancelled the Question and Zero hours and took up discussion demands for grants for the financial year 2025-26.
The discussions will cover various departments, including Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Industries and Commerce, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, Women & Child Welfare, Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, and Backward Classes Welfare.
Additionally, the government is set to introduce the Telangana Municipalities (Amendment) Bill, 2025, and the Telangana Panchayat Raj (Amendment) Bill, 2025.
