BJP people's party, but Congress, BRS ruled by family: Amit Shah

Korutal/Jangoan (Telangana), Nov 20 (UNI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday asserted that the BJP is the sole party representing the people, as against the family-dominated rule seen in Congress, BRS and MIM.
Shah pointed out that BRS, currently in power in the state, is under the influence of MIM Chief Owaisi.
He characterized these political entities as 2G, 3G, and 4G parties, stating that BRS represents two generations with KCR and KTR, MIM spans three generations with a grandfather, father, and son, and Congress extends over four generations from Jawaharlal Nehru to Rahul Gandhi. Shah contended that these parties prioritise their families over the common man.
Addressing the Sakala Janula Vijaya Sankalpa Sabha meetings held at Korutla and Jangaon, Amit Shah highlighted the historic significance of Telangana's liberation from the Nizam's rule, crediting then Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
He criticised BRS President and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for not officially celebrating Liberation Day, pledging to organise the event every year on September 17 and construct a martyrs' memorial at Bairanpally.
Shah affirmed BJP's commitment to the development of Telangana, Backward Class categorisation, and the promise to appoint a Chief Minister from the Backward Class.
Accusing BRS of running the most corrupt government in the country, he pledged to initiate an inquiry by a retired Supreme Court Judge into graft allegations related to projects such as Kaleshwaram, Mission Bhagiratha, and Mission Kakatiya.
Amit Shah highlighted India's enhanced global standing under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, citing the construction of a new Parliament and India's role as a guiding force for the world. The Union Home Minister also participated in a road show in the Uppal assembly constituency in the evening. UNI VV AKS SSP
