Thiruvananthapuram, June 11 (UNI) Malaysia Airlines is significantly expanding its operations from Trivandrum Airport, underlining Kerala’s growing role as an international hub for South India.
Starting 6 June, flights from Trivandrum will increase from four to five times weekly, complementing daily flights from Kochi and bring the airline’s total services from Kerala to 12 weekly flights, a release said.
This enhanced connectivity reflects strong outbound demand from the region and strengthens access to Malaysia Airlines’ global network of over 68 global destinations via Kuala Lumpur, including Australia, Japan, Singapore and New Zealand. Across India, the airline now operates more than 76 weekly flights from 10 cities.
