CIAL to observe Aviation Security Culture Week 2024

Kochi, Aug 5 (UNI) Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) is set to observe Aviation Security Culture Week from August 5 to 11, 2024 in line with the initiative spearheaded by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) and the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA).
The week-long event aims to enhance passenger awareness about aviation security and foster a culture of vigilance among the general public.
With the theme 'Enhancing Passenger Security through Effective Divestment,' this year's campaign underscores the principle that security is a shared responsibility.

Chennai, May 17 (UNI) Asserting that Tamil Nadu is a Dravidian State and not
a saffron state, Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin on Saturday evening
said NEP-2020 will never be allowed in TN as it is aimed at saffronising and
destroying the State Education, while batting for bringing the education back
to the state list from the concurrent list.

conducted raids at the residence of State-owned Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation
(TASMAC) MD and IAS Officer S Visakan and subjected him for questioning on Saturday in connection with the Rs 1,000 crore alleged irregularities unearthed by it.
