Telangana govt introduces tourism policy to attract Rs 15,000 cr investments

Hyderabad, Mar 22 (UNI) Telangana Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao on Saturday informed the Assembly that the state government has introduced a new tourism policy aimed at attracting Rs 15,000 crore investments and creating three lakh employment opportunities over the next five years.
Replying to questions raised by members in the house during question hour, Rao stated that no tourism policy had been introduced during the 10-year rule of the previous BRS government.
Recognizing the economic and employment potential of the sector, the present Congress government has launched this Tourism Policy to boost tourism in the state.
