Chaos in Telangana Assembly as KTR accuses Govt of 30 pc commission

Hyderabad, Mar 26 (UNI) The Telangana Assembly witnessed heated exchanges and chaos on Wednesday after BRS Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) made sensational allegations against the government, claiming that it was taking a 30 per cent commission on projects from contractors across the state.
Speaking in the Assembly during discussion on demands for grants for the financial year 2025-26, KTR alleged that even Congress leaders had discussed the issue openly, sparking a furious reaction from Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka. Congress members immediately stood up, raising slogans against the BRS and demanding an apology from KTR.
Amid the uproar, KTR questioned the government’s response, stating, “Why do ministers get so excited? We have the right to question the government’s failure in delivering promises.” In response, Bhatti accused KTR of misleading the House and engaging in “politics without values.” He challenged KTR to prove his claims if he was honest.
