Telangana Assembly budget session to continue till Mar 27

Hyderabad, March 12 (UNI) The Telangana Assembly's Business Advisory Committee (BAC) has decided to extend the ongoing budget session until March 27.
The decision was made during a meeting chaired by Speaker Gaddam Prasad in the Assembly's Speaker's Chamber on Wednesday.
The government will present the state budget on March 19. Key discussions are scheduled during the session, including a motion of thanks to the Governor's address on March 14 and discussions on SC classification on March 17. The BC census and reservations will be debated on March 18, followed by the budget discussion on March 21.

Thiruvananthapuram, June 14 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan on Sunday strongly criticised the participation of three Vice-Chancellors in a public meeting addressed by Mohan Bhagwat as part of the centenary celebrations of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), describing it as a serious lapse unbecoming of their offices.
In a Facebook post, Satheesan said the presence of the Vice-Chancellors at the event was a matter of grave concern and did not reflect Kerala's rich educational legacy or the dignity attached to the position of Vice-Chancellor.
