Telangana Assembly adjourned till Tuesday after passing BC Reservation Bills

Hyderabad, Mar 17 (UNI) The Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar adjourned the House to Tuesday at 1000 hours.
The session commenced at 1000 hours on Monday with the Question Hour, followed by the introduction and discussion of two Backward Classes (BC) Reservation Bills.
The Assembly was adjourned at 1945 hours after passing a bill providing 42 percent reservation for BCs in education and employment. The House also approved a bill granting 42 per cent reservation for BCs in local bodies across the state.
