Telangana's stamps and registration dept: Slot booking system expanded to 25 more offices

Hyderabad, May 11 (UNI) Telangana Revenue, Housing, Information and Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Sunday announced significant reforms in the Stamps and Registration Department aimed at saving citizens’ time and streamlining the property registration process.
In a statement, the Minister said that the outdated practice of buyers and sellers waiting for hours under trees at Sub-Registrar Offices has been eliminated through the phased implementation of a slot booking system. This reform is being introduced alongside the modernisation of Sub-Registrar Offices across the state.
Slot booking has already been successfully piloted in 22 Sub-Registrar Offices since April 10, and beginning May 12, the system will be rolled out to 25 more offices. The government aims to implement the system in all 144 Sub-Registrar Offices in the state by the end of next month.
