Youth rescued after two-hour ordeal in stalled skywalk lift at Uppal, Hyderabad

Hyderabad, June 12 (UNI) A 20-year-old youth was rescued after being trapped for more than two hours in a stalled lift at a skywalk in Uppal late on Thursday night.
The victim, identified as Rahul, an employee of NRP, was returning to his hostel after completing his work shift when the lift at the '6-B' skywalk reportedly malfunctioned and came to a halt midway while descending.
Trapped inside the lift, Rahul experienced a tense and frightening ordeal as rescue teams worked to free him. Upon receiving information about the incident, HYDRA officials, Uppal police personnel and firefighters rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation.
