Woman killed as DCM drags scooter for 5 km in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Apr 5 (UNI) A woman lost her life after a speeding DCM vehicle rammed into a scooter and dragged it for nearly five kilometres between Madhapur and Jubilee Hills late on Saturday night.
According to police, the accident occurred around midnight near Mindspace under the limits of Madhapur Police Station when the DCM crashed into a scooter travelling ahead. The impact left the scooter stuck beneath the vehicle, but the driver failed to stop and continued driving, dragging it along the road.
Alert bystanders noticed the incident, chased the vehicle, and managed to intercept it. The driver fled the scene, while locals caught his assistant and handed him over to the police.
