Telangana Govt announces Rs 5 lakh ex-gratia for victims of bus accident

Hyderabad, Nov 3 (UNI) Nineteen people lost their lives in a tragic road accident near Mirjaguda in Chevella mandal of Rangareddy district on Sunday.
The victims included ten women, eight men, and a child.
Minister for Transport Ponnam Prabhakar announced that the State government would provide Rs 5 lakh ex-gratia to the families of the deceased and Rs 2 lakh to those injured in the mishap. He said the injured were being given the best possible medical care.

AP Govt to install 58 ft statue of freedom fighter Potti Sriramulu

Vijayawada, Dec 16 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday announced the construction of a 58-feet statue of Amarajeevi Potti Sriramulu in the state capital, Amaravati, to be named the ‘Statue of Sacrifice.’ A memorial park spanning 6.5 acres will also be developed to honor the legendary freedom fighter.
