Three killed in Shivamogga soil collapse, CM expresses grief

Bengaluru, April 10 (UNI) Three workers were killed after a sudden soil collapse occurred during road barrier construction work at a curve in Hulikal Ghat, Hosanagara taluk of Shivamogga district, in a tragic incident reported on Friday.
The accident took place while workers were engaged in excavation-related work for the road barrier when a portion of loose soil gave way without warning, burying them under debris.
Rescue efforts were immediately launched by local workers and emergency teams, but all three victims were declared dead on the spot.
