Snow in high altitudes, rain in lower Himachal from Jan 22–23

Shimla, Jan 18 (UNI) The long spell of dry weather in Himachal Pradesh is finally set to end.
The Meteorological Department has predicted snowfall in the higher reaches and rain in the mid and lower regions on January 22 and 23, offering much-needed relief from the state’s drought-like conditions.
Over the past 24 hours, Tabo remained the coldest at -2.6°C, while Kukumseri recorded -1.6°C. Other towns, including Dharamshala, Bilaspur, Solan, and Una, also experienced significantly low temperatures.
