Buoyed by UPITS success UP govt plans divisional-level trade shows

Lucknow, Oct 3 (UNI) Buoyed by the success of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show-2024 (UPITS-2024), the Uttar Pradesh government is now gearing up to host similar trade shows at the divisional level.
Talking to the reporters at Lok Bhawan on Thursday Cabinet Micro Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Department Minister Rakesh Sachan and Principal Secretary Alok Kumar said that initially these events will be organised at five Divisional headquarters, with plans to expand it to all divisional headquarters shortly.
Sachan also expressed his gratitude to everyone involved in the successful organisation of the International Trade Show. He said that the second edition of the UP International Trade Show has exceeded all expectations and marked a new chapter in the trade and industrial development of the state.
