UP govt promotes PPP model to achieve one trillion dollar economy goal by 2027-28

Lucknow, July 6 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government is promoting the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model across various sectors to achieve the one trillion dollar economy goal for the state by 2027-28.
Official sources here on Saturday said that the government is promoting the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model in four core sectors and others with significant potential for PPP integration to propel the state's economic growth. It may be noted that the state has set an investment target of Rs 105 lakh crore to Rs 120 lakh crore from 2023-24 to 2027-28 to realise the vision.
In 2022-23, UP's economy was valued at 279 billion dollar. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has pledged to grow it to a one trillion dollar economy in the next five years. To achieve this goal, the state government is emphasising rapid and inclusive development.
