HP to conduct Khelo India Tribal Games 2026 selection trials in Bilaspur, Una

Hamirpur, Jan 17 (UNI) Trials are being conducted in Himachal Pradesh for the selection of teams in athletics, swimming, weightlifting, wrestling, hockey, and football (men's and women's) for tribal players from the state for the Khelo India Tribal Games-2026, which will be held in Chhattisgarh on the 14th of next month.
Additional Director of Youth Services and Sports Department, Hitesh Azad, said on Saturday that trials for athletics (men's and women's), archery (recurve and compound) (men's and women's), and football (men's and women's) will be held at the District Sports Office, Luhnu Ground, Bilaspur, on January 19. Registration for the trials will begin at 10:00 am. All interested players should report to the trial center on time with their Himachal Pradesh domicile certificate, tribal certificate, and two passport-size photographs.
Trials for other sports, including swimming, weightlifting, wrestling, and hockey, will be held at the previously designated location, Indira Stadium, Una, as per the scheduled program.
