Muslims standing like rock with the army: Maulana Madani

Saharanpur (UP), May 7 (UNI) Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind president and member of Darul Uloom's Majlis-e-Shura Maulana Mahmood Madani on Wednesday welcomed the military action taken by India on terrorist hideouts and said that the whole country, people of all religions and especially Muslims are standing like a rock with their army.
In a statement issued here, Maulana Madani said that no kind of compromise can be made on the issue of sovereignty, integrity and security of the country. "If Pakistan tries to impose a war on the country, then we declare in clear and unambiguous words that India is our country, it is our national and constitutional responsibility to protect it. Because Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind has always given the message of patriotism, peace and unity and today when there is a threat on our borders, we declare to stand shoulder to shoulder with our forces," he said.
He said that we will promote the spirit of unity, patience and sacrifice in the country at every level. "We appeal to the Indian government to give a befitting reply to every aggressive action of the enemy. We want to give a clear message to the enemies of our country that every Indian will protect his country at all costs with unity," he said.
