US brokered ceasefire once again: Manish Tewari

Chandigarh, May 10 (UNI) Congress MP from Chandigarh on Saturday said that a US brokered ceasefire has reaffirmed the US position once again, as being the single biggest outside balancer of power in multiple regions of the world.
Tewari, in a "X" post titled "US brokered ceasefire once again!" said that on February 28, 2019, USA President Donald Trump had said at a Presser in Hanoi: "We have, I think, reasonably attractive news from Pakistan and India,….. the United States was "involved" in mediating between India and Pakistan and in "trying to have them stop". "And we have some reasonably decent news... and I think it is going to end... it has been going on for a long time."
Congress MP further said that on Saturday, Trump's announcement of a ceasefire between India and Pakistan- six years later, like it or no, it reaffirms the US position once again as being the single biggest outside balancer of power in multiple regions of the world.
