Security heightened in Jammu for ‘incident free’ I-Day celebrations

Jammu, Aug 13 (UNI) Ahead of Independence Day celebrations on Thursday, security has been tightened in Jammu for the peaceful celebrations of the event.
Besides tightening security in the city, vigil is also being made on Jammu-Pathankot national highway, to thwart any plans of terrorists to disrupt the celebrations.
Police, paramilitary CRPF and Army personnel have been deployed in the region to keep an eye on any suspicious activity.

Rajasthan: Two police officials suspended over youth's death in Sawai Madhopur

Jhunjhunu, May 17 (UNI) Two youths riding a motorcycle died and another was injured in a tragic road accident in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan on Saturday
According to the police, Surendra Ghank (30) and Subhash Kumawat (36), residents of Neshnal Badi village, were riding a motorcycle towards the city when an unknown vehicle collided with them in Mandrella police station area, injuring them.
