Nahan, March 2 (UNI) The auction of four toll barriers in Sirmaur district, located on the borders of Himachal Pradesh with Uttarakhand and Haryana, has netted a price of Rs 31.90 crore, generating an additional revenue of Rs 19.79 lakh for the government, officials said on Sunday.
The State Tax and Excise Department had set the reserve price at Rs 31.70 crore, which was 7.5% higher than the previous year.
The auction took place at the Rural Development Authority office on Saturday, with Additional Commissioner of South Zone, Vivek Kumar, presiding as Collector.
