Train halted after eagle hit front mirror in South Kashmir; loco pilot injured

Srinagar, Nov 8 (UNI) A train travelling from Baramulla to Banihal was halted at Anantnag railway station on Saturday morning after an eagle struck the locomotive’s front mirror between Bijbehara and Anantnag, officials said.

The impact damaged the train’s windshield, causing minor injuries to the loco pilot, identified as Vishal, who was immediately given first aid at Anantnag railway station.
