Diljit Dosanjh wins Rs 50 lakh on KBC, donates prize to Punjab flood victims

Chandigarh, Nov 1 (UNI) Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh, hailing from Dosanjha village near Jalandhar, showcased both intelligence and humility on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), where he correctly answered 14 questions and won Rs 50 lakh.
Displaying a generous spirit, Dosanjh announced that he would donate the entire amount through a global Sikh organisation to help flood-affected families in Punjab.
Diljit said he had hoped to win even more for the relief efforts, but time ran out as the buzzer sounded. His arrival on the KBC stage drew loud applause from the audience, while host Amitabh Bachchan greeted him warmly, calling him “Punjab da puttar”.
